Getting a Krawk
Option 1: Krawk Petpet
A krawk petpet is like any other petpet, and can currently come in 16 different colours (such as pink, disco, halloween, pirate and rainbow). But what makes a krawk petpet different to other petpets? It can be turned into a real krawk.
Step 1: Get a krawk petpet, which will cost a few million depending on current inflation etc. You can buy it in the trading post or actions, depending if anyone is currently selling (note: zapped krawk petpets will not work).
Step 2: Attach the krawk (give) to one of your pets, on an account that has 3 pets or less. Otherwise this method will not work.
Step 3: Click on the krawk (petpet) by going to your pet's quick reference page.
Step 4: Name the petpet like you are creating a neopet, making sure the name is available.
Step 5: Go to the Fungus Caves and feed your petpet (krawk) this special fungus (the fungus is provided by the cave)
When your petpet eats the fungus, it will transform into a krawk (caution: the gender will be random) with the name of what you called the petpet, and as the colour of which the petpet originally was. This is why you need to make sure you only have 3 pets on the account.
Option 2: Potions
To get a krawk through either of these options require you to use a transmogrification or morphing potion. They are just as expensive as a krawk petpet, and are used the same way as any other trans/morphing potion is used.
There are currently 4 different coloured morphing potions: blue, red, yellow and green. And trans potions of course come as one kind only. The potions can be from in the trading post, auctions or the Magic Shop. However, it is rare for one to stock in the magic shop, and you must be a very experienced and quick restocker to get one from there.
Option 3: Adopting/Trading
The third and final way of obtaining a krawk is of course through adopting and trading. Most krawk owners look for unconverted pets, draiks, customs and other krawks, but if you get lucky, you may be able to get one for a pet that I didn't list (but don't expect it to happen anytime soon).
As for adopting, most krawk owners expect big and fancy applications (artists, roleplaying, pet personalities etc), but overall, it really just depends on the owner =P So keep a look out for krawk boards if you are wanting to apply for one.
