Glitters in MS Paint
Uses MS Paint/Animation Program | It is a Little Sticky | Written by Shalane
I am sure you are wondering how it is possible to make glitters in paint. You will need to use another program, but you can get a free download and use the tutorial found on the site. Once you know how to animate, you can easily make these glitters. Mine here isn't that great, but it is just an example. After a little bit of practice, you can make actually nice glitters using paint.
This is an original idea by NeopetsGuide and isn't to be made into a tutorial by anyone else, please. Feel free to link to the tutorial.
1. Learn your animation program. If you don't have one, click here.
2. Gather your image. Typically a shopkeeper image works well. I am just going to use this one below.
3. Open up paint. Choose a color for your "glitters" and select it. You may want to choose a shade from the image. Use the eyedropper tool (the one shapped like the dropper) to select a color.
4. Select the spray can tool. (It's the one that looks like a spray can.) There will be 3 different settings that you can choose from. Select the one that has the particles spread furthest apart; it is located at the bottom.
5. Lightly spray the area that you would like to glitter. Do not add more than needed. Try to stay within the lines. Feel free to undo (edit>>undo) or to edit is with the pencil tool (the picture of the pencil).
6. Once you are finished with your first image (mine is shown below), save it and open up the same original image with the same dimensions and do it again.
7. Add them to your animator. I would select around 10/100 for the image speed. Here is my finished image!:
