Transparent Sections in MS Paint

<< Tutorial Guide >>
Uses MS Paint | It is Sticky | Written by Shalane

Making a transparent section on an image, such as a blog, is actually quite easy. You can use just your basic Microsoft Word and Microsoft Paint! For this tutorial, I will be adding a transparent section to make a blog! The first thing you need is to choose a picture. I will use this one.

Next open Word and paste your picture. Make sure that the Drawing button is pressed. The button looks like this. Then click one of the Autoshapes(square or circle). I will use the square. Ignore the little box that says "Create your drawing here". Just click somewhere outside of the box and a circle or square will pop up. Create your shape that you want in your blog and then drag it into the blog. Then right-click on your shape and a little menu should pop up. Click Format Autoshape and another menu should pop up. Change the Transparency to about 40%-50%, then click Ok. Mine looks like this now. You can add anything you want to them. Effects, text, and much more! I only added text so this is how mine looks like.

See! Now, wasn't that easy? This tutorial says Golden Neo, it was used with permission.
