Wingoball – This is one of the most fun games in Neopia. Once you play it, you’re hooked. It’s a pretty new game and gets a lot of plays. No wonder – once you play it, you’ll understand. Well, you can’t play it just yet! You need the tips and tricks to find out how to get the most of your neopoints!

The Storyline

-

You’re in a garden with shrubs, gnomes, plants, pots, everything. Well, you are also holding a ball – known as a wingoball. The object of the game is for you to roll the wingoball all the way across the garden to safety. You have a limited amount of time at each level. Also, to make it easier, you can bounce the wingoball off of different things. Sounds good, right? Well, it takes some practice.

The Directions

All you need is your mouse, in this game. Simply move it around to point the ball where you would like it to go, and press left click to make it go… Sounds too easy, huh? Nope – it gets harder! Each level you’ll have a larger obstacle to get past. Maybe you need to bounce the wingoball off of an object in a certain direction to get it past the line, and into safety. Maybe there are some pesky gnomes that need to cross your path before you can roll the ball. Who knows, you’ll see when you get there, or when you see the screenies –wink wink-!

Tips and Tricks

Looking at all of these levels, you really won’t be all too prepared your first time around. Let me tell you something – This game is all about patience. Sure, some of your time will be wasted, but that’s better then having to restart. Well, let’s get on to those tips and tricks.

1) Time – You only have around 27 seconds to do each level, and if you mess up, the time doesn’t reset along with your wingoball. If you can’t pass the level in under 27 seconds, you lose the game.

2) Green Gnomes - You almost never want to bounce your wingoball off of this guy, even though you won’t automatically lose the game. There are a couple levels where you might need to, but other than that, the green gnomes just send the ball straight back to you. I recommend avoiding them at all costs.

3) Red Gnomes - Well, it’s obvious that you don’t want your wingoball to hit these guys, but still, don’t! Most levels, it’s easy to direct the wingoball away from them, but some it is not. Just keep an eye out, okay?

4) Direction - I’ve noticed that wherever the mouse cursor is on your screen, the wingoball pretty much goes there; right where your mouse is. So, it’s pretty easy to direct your wingoball, then, right? Well, you still have to be good at your timing to get them away from the gnomes.

5) Timing - Make sure that you keep your patience and wait to see when to throw your ball, especially if there are gnomes. If there’s a gnome going back and forth across your path, and you can’t seem to throw the ball at the right time, relax. You will lose the level if you keep rolling the ball over and over. Watch the gnomes movement, and how fast they are going. Once you think you know when to roll, roll. Each level is different, so keep up that timing!

6) Neopoints - What the amount of neopoints that you earn per game, you may ask? A lot, for such a fun game. It’s a pretty fun one, but in the end, it’s all about neopoints. The average amount that you’ll win is around 700 neopoints. A lot, huh? Yes, it is, and the neopoint ratio is 1 neopoint per point. Wow! So if you start getting good and earning 1,000 points per game, you’ll get 3,000 neopoints after three rounds. Go you!
