As most people know, Draiks are some of the greatest pets in Neopia. Almost everyone who knows about them wants one. They are also restricted pets, meaning that you cannot create them. As for L.E pets, you can create them on their special day, but Draiks? Nope! That doesn’t mean you can’t make one, or get one for yourself! If you’re unsure of how to get this great pet, and you want one, read this guide!
Option 1: Potions
One way to get a Draik is through potions. The two potions that you can use are Transmogrification and Morphing potions. Although, sometimes, you can get the Trans potion for cheaper than the Morphing potion. Currently, you can get the Trans potion for a little more than the Morphing potions, but the prices change all the time – Inflation and deflation, I guess..
The Morphing potions and Transmogrification potions can be found at either the Trading Post or the Auction House. I have heard of people, Restockers, to be exact, find morphing potions at the Magic Shop. They sell for around 88k, but it’s very rare if you see one there, let along get one. I don’t think that there will ever be one on the Shop Wiz, and if there is, I’ll be shocked! –Wink wink-. The asking price for each

Option 2: Hatching Eggs
Another way to make a Draik is to ‘hatch’ yourself one. There are different eggs for different colors – red, yellow, green, and blue. Once you have a draik egg, go to the Draik's Nest, which is where your draik egg will hatch. You can buy these at the Trading Post, Auctions, or sometimes the Merifood Store. I don’t think you’ll find one there, though. It’s pretty rare, if you do, and actually get it! Also, they will not be shown on the Shop Wizard. They’re simply too expensive to be there. The prices are around the same price as the Morphing Potions, but slightly less. I’ll tell you, anyways!

Option 3: Adopting
The final way that I know of that, in my opinion, is the easiest would be adopting. You can find all sorts of Draiks on NeoPound that need to be adopted. I won’t go too far into the adopting process, since there is already a guide on NeopetsGuide on adopting, but I will tell you this – Adopting a Draik may not be as easy as adopting any other pet. The owner will be getting a lot of applicants and will therefore have very high standards for the applications. I recommend spending a lot of time on art, poems, and the pet page in general. Yes, pet page, neomail applications will not do for Draiks.
