This tutorial is on how to blend images using PSP8. Other versions of PSP will work also, as well as other graphic programs, but the tools and variations may differ.

Here is one easy way to create a blend. Shalane tought me how.

1. Open a new blank image, along with the images you would like to have in your blend.

2. Copy each image that you will use in your blend (crl c) and paste them as a new layer onto the new blank image (crl l). Move the images to where you would like to have them on the new page using the Move tool, found on the tool bar. The tool bar is found on the left side.

3. Now on the same tool bar, click on the eraser tool.

4. Make sure you are on the layer you want to start erasing. You can check this by going to your layer menu found on the right side.

5. Erase around the images to create a blending effect. Notice as soon as you start erasing how blended they start to become.

6. Merge all layers together. Click on layers, found on the top of the page, then click on merge all, merge all.

Your image is complete!

VIOLA! You have created a blend!
