Ever wondered how to make glitters? I know I did. Eventually I found out how. I'd like to share my wisdom in this tutorial. You need to have/ know:
+Paint Shop Pro 8
+An Animation Maker
First, get your image. Use high quality images if you can. Add your credit now if you wish. Here is my starting image:

Open up Paint Shop Pro 8. Open up 3 seperate copies of the image.

Next, choose the magic wand from the left-hand toolbar.

Then use the wand to select the area you want glittered. Don't select too much, or else it will look too busy.

I selected the bow tie.

Now that you have the area you want glittered selected, lets glitter it. Go up to the top and select 'Adjust.' Then select 'Add/ Remove Noise' then 'Add Noise.'

The noise window will pop up. Feel free to mess around with the settings to fit your graphic.

I usually use 27% Noise, Gaussian, and select Monochrome. Monochrome makes the glitter colors match your image. If you want rainbow, don't select monochrome.

REPEAT THESE STEPS FOR EACH OF THE IMAGES. Make sure you select EXACTLY the same area with the wand for all of the images, or else it won't match up.

If you have sparkles (use google to find some) use the picture tube to place them on the glittered area. Use them sparingly or they will look weird. Don't worry if you don't have any. They are not needed.

Once your finished with each of the images, save them as prt1.gif, prt2.gif, and prt3.gif. Always save them as GIF IMAGES.

Here are my 3 images:

Open up the images into your animation program. I typically use 10/100 seconds per frame. Save and viola! You've got a glitter!
